YOUTH
The youth of Epiphany, called EpiQ Youth, have serious fun while also exploring and growing in their faith in ways that are relevant to their unique time of life.
EpiQ Youth includes young people from both the English and Tamil congregations and usually meets on Saturday afternoons. The youth band leads the time of worship, and a team of trained youth facilitators conduct the weekly program that focuses on topics relevant to youth.
There are also numerous activities and programs for the youth throughout the year – from movie nights to desert camping to youth retreats.
EpiQ Youth is always ready to welcome new youth to their community!

confirmation classes
Every autumn, confirmation classes are held and all youth 13 years of age and above are invited to participate.
Those wishing to participate in the confirmation classes are asked to prayerfully commit to attend the classes and be an active member in them.
Those who choose to be confirmed at the end of the classes will participate in the Confirmation service during the bishop’s visit to the parish.

Our youth are invited throughout the year to participate in a variety of ways in the worship services – such as serving as readers or acolytes, to singing in a youth band, that offers special songs during Holy Communion. Occasionally, Youth Services are held in which the youth lead the worship service. The youth are also invited to participate in the church’s various outreach activities.
